英特爾開始交付新款Atom芯片可降低能耗20%

據國外媒體報道，英特爾當地時間周三開始交付面向上網本的最新型號凌動處理器，與上一代凌動芯片相比，能耗降低20%。此舉被外界認為是英特爾在平板電腦大潮中保持上網本增長的一項重要舉措。英特爾在一份聲明中表示，新款凌動處理器集成有兩個內核，是代號為Cedar Trail的平臺的一部分，可以延長上網本電池續航時間，提高總體性能。包括惠普、宏碁、聯想、東芝、華碩和三星在內的PC廠商將從明年1月份起發售采用Cedar Trail平臺的上網本，起價為199美元。

英特爾稱，與兩年前推出的型號相比，新款凌動處理器圖形性能增長一倍，能耗降低20%。配置新款凌動處理器的上網本電池續航時間可長達10小時。

英特爾計劃在明年1月份的國際消費電子展上討論面向智能手機、平板電腦和PC的最新型號處理器。

Cedar Trail平臺是英特爾改進上網本努力的一個重要步驟。英特爾發言人稱，盡管Cedar Trail平臺可以用于平板電腦，但該公司大多數客戶將把即將發布的Medfield或Clover Trail用在平板電腦中。

盡管上網本面臨平板電腦的威脅，但英特爾仍然看好上網本。英特爾稱，雖然上網本在美國和西歐的銷量在下滑，但在中國、印度等發展中國家市場上，上網本銷量還在增長。

新款凌動處理器使上網本能播放高清視頻，支持HDMI(高清晰度多媒體接口)使上網本可以與高清電視機相連，無線顯示技術可以通過無線技術將PC畫面傳輸到電視機上。

英特爾的新款凌動處理器包括時鐘頻率為1.6GHz、能耗為3.5瓦的凌動N2600，以及時鐘頻率為1.86GHz、能耗為6.5瓦的凌動N2800。英特爾9月份推出了臺式機版Cedar Trail平臺。
