JOB DESCRIPTION: Business Development Manager (BDM) in PTC, a leading Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) solution provider POSITION: Joining a leader in the PLM Solution market, your challenge will be to develop and execute account strategy, build value propositions and develop executive relationships within major industries or customer accounts. Part of an international team and supported by experts, you will contribute to the building of a high-growth team structure. RESPONSIBILITIES: Must be able to supply value-added contributions to the sales campaign strategy and account plan as it evolves among the PTC Sales Team. Particular to the account plan contributions, this person should monitor the focus given to a customer's strategic initiatives, the tactics required to achieve them, and the competitive positioning needed throughout the process. Proactive in the education of the Sales Team and customers on matters of value proposition for the respective vertical in particular or as enhancements to the product line to create new selling opportunities. Establishing and developing the Business Case Definition inclusive of ROI for strategic alignment. · Customer Interaction and Credibility · Account Strategy Development · Business Opportunity Development · Subject Matter Expertise in Product Development Process Disciplines Must be able to formulate, articulate and present the Value Propositions of PTC solutions as it pertains to the highest-level initiatives of a corporation while communicating the essence of partnership to both the customer and incumbent System Integrator. Must be able to lead the delivery of pre-sales engagements such as Business Process Analysis Workshop or Technical Proof of Concept. As a post implementation engagement, the individual will leverage relationships developed in the pre sales engagement to extract metrics pertaining to the success of the solution set provided and position follow-on business. PROFILE: Candidates with the following types of experience will be considered: r Over 5 years industry experience either directly for a company or as an external consultant.
