Overview: 1、Build and maintain a high quality andcompetitively priced supply base for all products related to air suspensions,controls and control systems. 2、The position requires a strong technicalbackground combined with the ability to develop, analyze and effectivelynegotiate with suppliers to assure that our company always receives the rightproducts, on time and at the right price, with unfailing quality. Dimensions: 1、Unquestionable integrity in all dealingswith the company and the suppliers; 2、Management of a supply base, procuredproduct pricing and annual price reduction goals; 3、A disciplined individual with an equallywell disciplined approach to developing a supply base and procurement system; 4、A thoughtful, professional, technicallycompetent, experienced and analytical negotiator. Principle Accountabilities: 1、This position, with the support of SystemsDirector and President, establishes the criteria and expectations for allproducts and suppliers; 2、Ability to locate and establish acompetitive supply base for suspension components and electronic related controlmodule components for both the domestic and international markets; 3、Negotiate and manage the sourcing toassure the best quality and value at the most competitive price; 4、Use a rigorous methodology that is fairand transparent in the assessment and qualification of suppliers for componentsincluding: (1)、Air springs and suspension components(shocks/struts, bushings, control arms, etc…) (2)、Electronic controls (PCBA Assemblies),valves, sensors and machined components (3)、System related components includingwiring, brackets, filters, compressors, etc… 5、Manage a transparent supply base withinthe PLEX ERP system; 6、Establish and maintain a procurementsystem that complies with TS-16949 and ISO 9002; 7、Ability to read, interpret and accuratelycommunicate technical requirement to suppliers and other team members as may berequired. |
