模體用來檢測醫院的CT性能，由塑料制成，Catphan500, Catphan600, Catphan5700, CTP500, CTP600, CTP700等. 另外一個是醫院的磁共振性能檢測模體，完全使用有機玻璃制成，也有兩個型號，其中的圓柱形，就是Magphan® SMR170，廠家是美國模體實驗室。



功能：Phantomlab與物理學家兼哲學家Goodenough, Ph.D.,共同努力發展了Catphan®模體。新型的Catphan®模體設計是基于醫療成像儀器方面二十多年的科學研究和臨床經驗。該種模體可以應用于軸向和螺旋CT掃描成像系統的各種操作評價以及質量保證系統。



不同的模塊組成了Catphan®模體，這些模塊尚可適用于連續20cm空間。為了在Catphan®424中使用水容器，所有Catphan®組件都是由Solid-cast材料構成。Solid-cast結構可以降低材料的吸水性和水浴模體相關的露水問題。

包括Catphan®500在內共有三種基本Catphan®模體。Catphan®是為螺旋CT掃描而特殊設計的。

  AutoQALite Software for use with the CatPhan CT Phantoms.   

An updated Windows program to the original PC/AutoQA for CT. This update provides expanded image processing capacity for up to 96 images in a data set with a comprehensive trend analysis feature.

PROCESSING FEATURES

CT AutoQA Lite™ can be configured with various vendor phantoms including ACR and all Catphan® models.
CT AutoQA Lite™ is DICOM3.0 compatible, a DICOM Storage Provider (SCP) Application license is provided.
CT AutoQA Lite™ provides the same analysis function as the original PC/AutoQA (DOS) version.

•ixel Size – test verifies the expected pixel size based on the display field of view and the reconstruction matrix size from the measured set of four calibration pins positioned at a known physical location as specified in the Catphan® section CTP401 and CTP404.
