The Testing Manager is responsible for leading a team of Quality Engineers to plan, monitor, control, execute and report various verification and validation activities for applications/systems. The position holder also assists the Senior Systems Assurance Manager to explore and implement new tools or methods and enhance System Assurance processes for continuous improvement, cycle reduction and compliance. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES KEY OUTCOMES 1.Test Management Reviews system design and ensures readiness of test plans and test case. Develops test schedule and communicates to all stakeholders. Prioritizes resources and testing activities. Provides advice on technical decisions and testing practice to testing team members. Designs test bed configuration and streamlines test bed operations. Collaborates with IT team and users to ensure proper test execution and defect resolution. 2.Section Management Acquires, trains and develops resources to improve team competency 3.Quality Improvement Reviews and improves test approach, test methodology, and test process. Conducts risk assessments and implement risk mitigation with focus on quality risk and schedule risk. Implements best practices in testing practices/tools, technology trends, and new Club’s products. 4.Relationships Building Builds rapport with vendors, IT and business teams. 1.Test Management Testing activities are conducted effectively and efficiently. Zero production incidents after implementation. 2.Section Management Resources productivity. 3.Quality Improvements Quality improvement is reflected in reduction in costs, cycle times, new initiatives, or added value activities. 4.Relationship Building Maintain trust and collaborative culture with all stakeholders. Qualifications /Experience (entry level) 1. Bachelor degree in computer science or engineering recommended. 2. A minimum 10 years solid experience in software quality assurance. A maximum of 5 years experience can be substituted by other IT experience. 3. Proven staff management/supervision capability. 4. Working knowledge in software quality assurance processes is mandatory 5. Must understand the software development life cycle, IT infrastructure library, Project Management, etc. 6. Sound and broad knowledge of automation techniques for testing execution. 7. English proficiency (written and spoken) is mandatory 8. Mandarin proficiency is preferred.
