The candidate will work within the localDSP/digital development team and closely withsystem/simulation/verification/analog engineering teams to develop andimplement DSP/digital blocks to build IPs and products. Job responsibilities include: specdevelopment and design of DSP/digital blocks, performing simulations and FPGAprototyping and solving integration and testing problems during thedevelopment, characterization, and production stages of the product. Successfulcandidate must have the ability to communicate with engineers of variousbackgrounds: systems, software, digital hardware, analog design andverification. Basic Qualifications: Extensive hands-on experience in the designand development of digital communication ICs. The candidate must have at least10-years of development experience on digital communication IC designs. Deep knowledge and good understanding ofdigital communication theory, information theory; specifically on: timingrecovery, equalization, echo cancellation, automatic gain control, and theirhigh-speed DSP/digital implementation. Extensive experience with RTL programminglanguages. Experience with developing algorithms in C,C++, and MATLAB. Experience with scripting language such asPerl, Python. Must have solid hands-on experience withlab testing and characterization of digital sub-systems. Proficiency of FPGA prototyping. Experience with ASIC design flows, tools,methodologies, and development of timing constraints is a plus. Candidate must have strong Englishcommunication skills with willingness to interact with various groups withinthe company. IEEE 802.3 or previous Ethernet productdevelo.
