Linting is the most important operation in RTL implementation flow. With linting, you can deliver purified RTL code even before doing synthesis. Maybe you don't need synthesizer utility to optimize your design. However, you must use linting utility to screen your RTL files. Everything starts from your clean RTL source. Good to have this nLint.
